Impromptu Daytrip - Part 1

On Easter Monday we decided to head off for the day.  Over breakfast we perused our friend Google Maps and came up with a plan.  First stop the delightful town of Royal Leamington Spa where we had a lovely stroll and morning tea.

Thereafter we set off to Moreton-in-Marsh. Another lovely town where we had lunch and a stroll along the main street.

After this we headed back north - Part 2 to follow.

  1. What glorious weather for your day trip - that squirrel is super cheeky looking. Are your girls loving them? I remember how enthralled our boys were seeing them in their grandparents' garden when we were over there - I must admit I love them too! Leamington Spa (which I've heard of) looked like a delightful wee spot :-)

  2. Wow what a beautiful spot! So cute the little squirrel peeking at you. I love the blue bridge..........looks lovely against the blue sky.

  3. What stunning weather! Oh I love England...I'll live vicariously through all your adventures ;o) xx

  4. How fun and exciting thinking of all the little places you will have to explore...such an experience for you all. Xxxx

  5. It must be so much fun to go out adventuring with everything new and exciting! What beautiful weather you had. I'm loving getting a chance to "travel" with you, albeit through your beautiful pics! Where to next?! xxx

  6. How very lovely and English it all looks! I love England (Europe actually) for its history . . . .
Squirrels LOVE and I remember my kids fascination when they saw their first one.
Are you all loving it so much? Everything must be an adventure.

  7. So beautiful - so much history in all those buildings and bridges. So different to NZ.

Thanks for stopping by - it brightens my day!
