A couple of weeks ago I showed you the first installment of a collection of birds I'd been working on. Here are the remainder of them - all designed by the legend that is Juliet :)
From top to bottom: Kea, Piwakawaka, Karearea, Kereru, Kokako.
I've also just finished two more birdies - though non NZ ones, which I'll share another time. To say I'm a bit addicted to paper piecing birds would probably be a bit of an understatement :)
What is your current crafting/creating addiction?
Thanks for stopping in and linking up - always awesome to see what you talented folk have been up to!
Have a Thumper of a Thursday :)

They are really appealing, and the whole process of pattern piecing, taking scraps of fabric and making them into something so detailed is fascinating - I can see why they are addictive. I'm going through a season of doing lots of different things at the moment - no one addiction at the moment. That's not to say I haven't been totally in love with one craft at one time - crochet for example!
ReplyDeleteso clever
ReplyDeleteI think I am all crafted and all blogged out

ReplyDeleteWow they look complicated but so fantastic. x
ReplyDeleteThey are amazing! I love the Kereru and how it stands out from the busy floral background. So clever.
ReplyDeletethese are fab - my addictions are usually very short lived I guess making dresses might count to some.... there are rather a lot in the wardrobe and hardly any of anything else....
ReplyDeleteSo many gorgeous birds... and that is really saying something coming from me because I'm not particularly fond of birds really. Loving the one with the floral background most - very special indeed.
ReplyDeleteYou have done a great job with the birds. Hard to pick a favourite!
ReplyDeleteLove those birds. My crafting mojo is getting sidetracked by reading at the moment, but between books I'm working on historical costuming, knitting, prepping fibre for spinning and thinking about putting up the loom.
ReplyDeleteI love your birdies, Leonie!!! So cute, they are going to make a really great quilt! I have been obsessed with HSTs recently. I can't wait to see more of your paper piecing.. stunning! xo
ReplyDeleteI LOVE that fantail : )

ReplyDeleteYou really are very clever! They are just amazing. Can't wait to see them all quilted up. Xx
ReplyDeleteThey are incredible - I've never seen anything like them. My current crafting obsession is freestyle hand embroidery.
