Show & Tell - Patchwork Baskets

Happy Thursday :)
Show & Tell Thursday's

A few months ago I read about this great tutorial for fabric buckets on Deb's blog.  Something I definitely wanted to do and make, and so I did!  A couple of gifts for a couple of amazing ladies.

The longest part was laying out all the bits to make sure they roughly fit and then sewing all those bitty pieces together.  Some as small as 1.5"!

Both were made entirely from fabric and scraps in my stash.  I only had super stiff interfacing, so attached vertical strips at intervals to fortify the sides.  It seemed to work ok.

The tutorial was clear and helpful - and I will be making one or two more in time :)

Announcement time!  The winner of the amazing fat quarter set from More than Fabric is...:
Cat with her beanie entry!  Congrats! I'll be in touch shortly to make arrangements : )

With winter well on the way, the giveaway for May: A couple of balls (your choice of colours) of Loyal 8ply Wool and a 5mm Crochet Hook! To be in the draw, you just need to link up during the month. Easy peasy : )

Over to you! Link away! Cant wait to see this weeks's creations : )
